I have noticed that when I cease an operation in a vm guest that vmware seems to become unresponsive for a while. I think that Windows 8 is grabbing too much cpu/disk time to do 'Appy' things (not sure why as I never use the darned things!). I tried changing vmware workstation and workstation vmx priorities to high, and it seems to help. Is there anything else I should change, (short of reverting to Windows 7)?.
If the consensus is that this is a 'good' thing to do is there any way of making the priority assignments 'permanent' by changing registry settings?
