Question for the Gurus of VM,
I am running openSUSE 12.1 and just have installed Workstation 10.0.3 installation went well and I received the successful installation message. When attempting to start Workstation I receive this message "Kernel Headers 3.7.3-1-desktop were not found" in the VMWare Kernel Module Updater. Is there any resolution for this issue? I have done a number of things to try solving this issue from installing the required package that contains these headers but to no avail. My response from "uname -a" is ...3.7.3-1-desktop..." which appears to be what it is looking for. The VMWare Kernel Module Updater provides a brose option and I have tried the location that lists the 3.7.3-1-desktop (/lib/modules) but the result then is "C header files matching your running kernel were not found. Refer to your distribution's documentation for installation instructions." I have found a number of issues describing similar situation with different versions but have yet to find a description that resolves this issue for the versions I am using.
Can anyone help with this?
Thank you much.
